The Community changes accompanying separation
Going through separation can be really difficult and at times you can feel isolated. Don’t go through this alone. Recruit help and support from family members, close friends, work colleagues and professionals such as solicitors, counsellors and your GP. Following separation there will inevitably be changes, and you will need help from others to face these.
It is not unusual to feel lonely. You may miss your partner and the life you had together, as well as their family and friends. People can often feel alone and disconnected. You may need to build a new future. This can feel daunting, but it is important for you and your children that you retain and develop existing support networks and develop new ones if those already in place are not enough.
